Abstract
Anneler emzirmenin başladığı ilk bir iki hafta içinde ortaya çıkan meme sorunları nedeniyle, emzirme döneminde güçlük yaşayabilmektedir. Meme sorunlarının çözümünde kullanılan birçok farmakolojik ve nonfarmakolojik yöntem bulunmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı nonfarmakolojik yöntemlerden biri olan lahananın, meme angorjmanını gidermede kullanımını ve etkilerini incelemektir. Derleme kapsamında meme angorjmanını gidermede lahana yaprağı kullanımının etkisini araştıran, 1993-2020 tarihleri arasında yapılmış toplam 10 araştırmanın çalışma sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmalarda lahananın etkinliği sıcak-soğuk kompres, rutin bakım, soğuk jel paketleri/jel plak ile karşılaştırılarak araştırılmıştır. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre lahana yaprakları meme angorjmanı tedavisi için umut verici olsa da kullanım prosedürü ve karşılaştırma kriterleri ile ilgili daha çok çalışmaya ihtiyaç vardır.

Abstract
Mothers may experience difficulties during breastfeeding due to breast problems that occur within the first week or two of breastfeeding. There are many pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods used in the solution of breast problems. The aim of this review is to examine the use and effects of cabbage, which is one of the non-pharmacological methods, in eliminating breast engorgement. Within the scope of the review, the study results of a total of 10 studies conducted between 1993 and 2020, investigating the effect of using cabbage leaves on breast engorgement, were evaluated. In these studies, the effectiveness of cabbage was investigated by comparing it with hot-cold compress, routine care, cold gel packs/gel plate. According to the results of the study, although cabbage leaves are promising for the treatment of breast engorgement, more studies are needed on the use procedure and comparison criteria.
