Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma, Türkiye’de hemşirelik eğitimi veren üniversitelerin müfredatında inovasyona yönelik derslerin bulunma durumunu ve içeriklerini incelemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tiptedir. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye’deki devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerindeki hemşirelik lisans programları oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri Şubat- Mart 2018 tarihlerinde arasında toplanmıştır. Üniversitelerin listesine Yükseköğretim Kurulunun internet sayfasından ulaşılmıştır. Üniversitelerin web sayfasından hemşirelik öğretim planları indirilmiş ve incelenmiştir. Ders programları “inovasyon”, “sağlıkta inovasyon”, “girişimcilik”, “yaratıcılık”, “yenilikçilik” anahtar kelimeleri ile taranmıştır. Bulgular: Türkiye’deki üniversitelerin %64.86’sında hemşirelik lisans programı vardır. Hemşirelik lisans programlarının %71.67’si devlet üniversitelerinde, %28.33’ü vakıf üniversitelerindedir. İncelenen hemşirelik programlarının %29.17’sinde inovasyon ile ilgili ders vardır. Ders içeriklerinde en sık yer verilen konular girişimciliğin tanımı, önemi ve temel kavramlar, girişimcilik süreci ve yeni fikirler üretmek/yaratıcılıktır. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak hemşirelik müfredatında inovasyona yönelik ders bulunan üniversitelerin sayısı sınırlıdır. Hemşirelik müfredatında inovasyona yer verilmesi sonucunda yenilikçilik kültürünün benimsenmesi, öğrencilerin yaratıcı ve yenilikçi yöntemlere yönelmesi sağlanabilir. |

Aim: This study was carried out in order to examine the availability and content of innovation-oriented courses in the curriculum of universities providing nursing education in Turkey. Methods: The study was descriptive and cross-sectional. The population were nursing undergraduate programs in state and foundation universities in Turkey. Data were collected between February-March, 2018. The list of universities has been reached from the website of the Council of Higher Education. Nursing curriculum have been downloaded from the web pages of the universities and examined. Curriculums were screened with the keywords "innovation", "health innovation", "entrepreneurship", "creativity", "innovation". Results: 64.86% of universities in Turkey had a nursing undergraduate program. 71.67% of the undergraduate nursing programs were in state universities, 28.33% were in foundation universities. 29.17% of the reviewed nursing programs had an innovation-related course. The most frequently covered topics in the course contents were the definition of entrepreneurship, its importance and basic concepts, the entrepreneurial process and generating new ideas/creativity. Conclusion: As a result, the number of universities with innovation-oriented courses in their nursing curriculum is limited. With including innovation in the nursing curriculum, it can be ensured that innovation culture is adopted and students turn to creative and innovative methods. |
