Abstract
Amaç: Araştırma, öğrencilerin eşcinselliğe ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır.
Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini, fakülte ve yüksekokullarında öğrenim gören toplam 3048 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak, soru formu ve Eşcinsellik Tutum Ölçeği (ETÖ) kullanılmıştır. Soru formu ve ETÖ 04.12.2017-16.03.2018 tarihleri arasında uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler; ortalama, standart sapma, yüzdelik ve sayılar, t-testi (independent samples t-testi) ve Oneway Anowa testleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.
Bulgular: Araştırmada öğrencilerin eşcinsellik tutum ölçeği puan ortalamasının (2.85±0.33) olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa Katsayısı “0.80” olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmada, eşcinsel olduğu düşünülen ya da bilinen bir tanıdığı olmayan öğrencilerin eşcinselliğe ilişkin tutumu tanıdığı olan öğrencilere göre daha olumsuz ve aralarındaki fark anlamlı bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte, eşcinsellerin dini inancını güçlü olarak değerlendiren öğrencilerin orta ve zayıf olarak değerlendiren öğrencilere göre eşcinsellere yönelik tutumlarının daha olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Eşcinsellerin kendi kimliklerini saklama nedenin toplum baskısı olduğunu belirten öğrencilerin belirtmeyen öğrencilere göre tutumlarının daha olumsuz olduğu ve aralarındaki farkın anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: Bu çalışmada, öğrencilerin eşcinselleri tanıma düzeylerinin yetersiz olduğu ve eşcinsellere ilişkin tutumlarının olumsuz olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
Aim: The research was conducted as a descriptive study in order to determine the students' views on homosexuality.
Methods: The sample of the study consisted of a total of 3048 students studying at faculties and vocational schools. Questionnaire and Homosexuality Attitude Scale (HAS) were used as data collection tools. Question form and HAS were applied between 04.12.2017-16.03.2018. Data obtained were analysed by using average, standard deviation, percentage and numbers, independent samples t-test and One-way Anova tests.
Results: As a result of the research, score average of homosexuality attitude scale of the students was determined (2,85±0,33). Cronbach Alpha Coefficient of the scale was found “0,80”. In the study, the attitude towards homosexuality of students who are thought to be homosexual or who do not have a known acquaintance was found to be more negative and the difference between them was significant. On the other hand, it was determined that students who evaluated the religious belief of homosexuals as strong had more positive attitudes towards homosexuals than students who evaluated their religious beliefs as moderate or weak. It was determined that the attitudes of the students who stated that the reason for the homosexuals to hide their identities was social pressure, had more negative attitudes than the students who did not, and the difference between them was significant.
Conclusion: In this study, it was determined that the students' level of recognition of homosexuals was insufficient and their attitudes towards homosexuals were negative.
