Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin İşsizliğe Karşı Kaygı ve Umutsuzluk Düzeyinin Belirlenmesi

Özet: Amaç: Sağlık bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin işsizliğe karşı kaygı ve umutsuzluk düzeyinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve korelasyonel nitelikte olan araştırma sağlık bilimleri fakültesi hemşirelik ve acil yardım ve afet yönetimi bölümünde eğitim gören 322 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Veriler, İşsizlik Kaygısı Ölçeği ve Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.93±1.50 yıl olarak saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin, %67.1’i kadın, %29.8’i 4.sınıf, %63.7’si acil yardım ve afet yönetimi öğrencisidir. Öğrencilerin İşsizlik Kaygısı Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 3.11±0.61 olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin Umutsuzluk Ölçeğinden aldıkları puan ortalaması ise 8.41±5.22 olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin işsizlik kaygısı ve umutsuzluk düzey puan ortalamasının ortalamadan düşük düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin İşsizlik Kaygısı Ölçeği toplam puanı ile Umutsuzluk Ölçeği toplam puan ortalamaları arasında pozitif yönde, güçlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir (r=0.579, p=0.000). Sonuç: Öğrencilerin işsizlik kaygısı ve umutsuzluk düzey puan ortalamasının ortalamadan düşük düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin işsizlik kaygısı arttıkça umutsuzluk düzeylerinin arttığı belirlenmiştir. |

Abstract: Aim: This study was conducted to determine the level of anxiety and hopelessness against unemployment of the students of the faculty of health sciences. Methods: The research, which is descriptive and correlational, was conducted with 322 students studying in the department of nursing and emergency aid and disaster management at the faculty of health sciences. Data were collected using the Anxiety Inventory and Beck Hopelessness Scale. Results: The mean age of the students participating in the study was 20.93±1.50 years. Of the students, 67.1% are women, 29.8% are 4th grade students, 63.7% are emergency aid and disaster management students. The average score of the students on the Unemployment Anxiety Scale was found to be 3.11±0.61. The average score of the students from the Hopelessness Scale was found to be 8.41±5.22. It was determined that the unemployment anxiety and hopelessness levels of the students were lower than the average. It was determined that there was a positive, strong and significant relationship between the students' Unemployment Anxiety Scale total score and the Hopelessness Scale total score average (r=0.579, p=0.000). Conclusion: It was determined that the unemployment anxiety and hopelessness level average of the students was lower than the average. It was determined that as the unemployment anxiety of the students increased, their hopelessness levels increased. |
