COVID-19 Pandemi Sürecinde Okullarda Alınması Gereken Koruyucu Önlemler ve Halk Sağlığı Hemşiresinin Rolü

Dünyada önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunu olan Covid 19 pandemisi okullarda eğitim sürecini de etkilemiştir. Covid 19 pandemisi ile birlikte pek çok ülkede yüz yüze eğitime ara verilerek uzaktan eğitim süreci başlamıştır. Bununla birlikte özellikle enfeksiyonun yayılma hızının düşük olduğu ülkelerde gerekli koruyucu önlemler alınarak yüz yüze eğitim devam etmektedir. Bu çalışma, Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde okullarda alınması gereken koruyucu önlemleri ve halk sağlığı hemşiresinin rolünü açıklamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Okullarda pandemi sürecinde bireysel ve kurumsal düzeyde bazı koruyucu önlemler uygulanmaktadır. Bireysel düzeyde; kişiler arasında en az 1 metre fiziksel mesafe kurallarına uyulması, tıbbi maske kullanılması ve su ve sabunla en az 20 saniye ellerin yıkanması, kurumsal düzeyde ise; temizlik ve dezenfeksiyon, havalandırma, hastalık belirtilerinin izlenmesi, hasta ve temaslı takibi gibi önlemler uygulanmaktadır. Okullarda uygulanan koruyucu önlem çalışmalarında halk sağlığı hemşireleri etkin rol oynamaktadırlar. Halk sağlığı hemşireleri hasta ve temaslı takibi, yüksek riskli kişilerin belirlenmesi, sağlık kontrollerinin yapılması, veri toplama, kayıt tutma, sağlık eğitimi ve ruh sağlığı destek programları gibi çalışmaları yürütmektedirler. Okullarda Covid 19’un bulaşmasını ve yayılmasını önlemek için bireysel ve kurumsal boyutta bazı koruyucu önlemler uygulanmakta ve halk sağlığı hemşireleri bu süreçte etkin rol oynamaktadırlar.

Abstract
The Covid 19 pandemic, which is an important public health problem in the world, also affected the education process in schools. With the Covid 19 pandemic, face-to-face education was suspended in many countries and the distance education process started. However, face-to-face training continues by taking necessary protective measures, especially in countries where the rate of spread of infection is low. This study was conducted to explain the protective measures to be taken in schools and the role of the public health nurse during the Covid-19 pandemic process. In schools, some protective measures are applied at individual and institutional levels during the pandemic process. At the individual level; complying with the rules of at least 1 meter of physical distance between people, using a medical mask and washing hands with water and soap for at least 20 seconds, if at institutional level measures such as cleaning and disinfection, ventilation, monitoring of disease symptoms, patient and contact monitoring are implemented. Public health nurses play an active role in preventive measures applied in schools. Public health nurses carry out studies such as patient and contact follow-up, identification of high-risk people, health checks, data collection, registration, health education and mental health support programs. In schools, some individual and institutional protective measures are applied to prevent the transmission and spread of Covid 19 and public health nurses play an active role in this process.
